When a friend or family member approaches their end of life, many people feel uncomfortable in the situation. Why? Because end of life has very unique and difficult questions that are sometimes hard to answer. When will the death happen? Why are they acting like this? What if I say something wrong? What do I say if I get asked a tough question? What if I don’t know what to say? This presentation is meant to help you overcome awkwardness and feel confident in caring for someone. It is designed for people who are, or will be, the support person for a family member or friend, or people who want to volunteer to support someone on hospice. The same presentation will take place on Friday and Saturday.
