Longtime New England musician and author, Matt York, will perform the songs of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Waylen Jennings and tell the stories of their careers. The four songwriting legends joined forces in the 1980s to form the country supergroup, The Highwaymen. Prior to that, they’d each established themselves as stars and their careers intersected many times starting in the 1960s. This program is support in part by a grant from the Dennis Local Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. This event is free and requires no registration.
