The Dennis Public Library has a professional reference librarian on staff, and our reference department offers many services and tools to patrons doing research and homework. If you have a question, we will do our best to help you answer it!

DPL has access to a variety of databases for research and learning in specific areas.

Massachusetts Access to Gale Reference Databases - The comprehensive collection of research databases offered by the Massachusetts Library System, including Biography in Context, Health and Wellness Resource Center, Business Insights, general reference databases, and more.

Encyclopedia Britannica Public Library Edition - The Public Library Edition is for general use, and has a link to the Kid's Edition. To see the other Encyclopedia Britannica editions available.

Cape Cod Times -  Explore Cape Cod history through local news, events and people with the Cape Cod Collection. Search current and archived issues with full-color newspaper pages, full-text articles and content only published online.
