StoryWalk at Johnny Kelley Park - UPDATE!
DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND the StoryWalk has been extended until Monday, March 1st. Enjoy! The Dennis Libraries are joining together to present a
StoryWalk®. Head over to Johnny
Kelley Park for a refreshing stroll in the clear air and read Snow by author Cynthia Rylant, beautifully
illustrated by Lauren Stringer. The walk begins across from the playground.
Follow the story panels along to the right, where they are affixed to the posts
for the park’s Braille Trail. We hope readers of all ages enjoy the book and,
if you like, take time for a little play nearby.
The StoryWalk® concept
was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier,
VT, and developed with the help
of Rachel Senechal of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. The Dennis Libraries thank
these two innovative women, along with the Recreation Department and the
Department of Public Works for the Town of Dennis, for making this event possible.
