The Attorney General’s Office has issued a report noting that Massachusetts residents who switched to competitive electric supply companies collectively lost over $175 million over a two-year period.

Visit the library for an author talk with Steve Babineau and Mike Shalin as they discuss their book "The Hometown Team."
For Red Sox fans eager to relive the glory days of their favorite players, "The Hometown Team" enables them to do just that, through the lens of longtime photographer Steve Babineau. This scrapbook-style book features fun and insightful commentary from veteran sports writer Mike Shalin and images of many BoSox legends.
From star and support players, to members of the grounds crew, Red Sox staff, alumni, and some opposing players, this book features Fenway's most memorable characters from the past forty years, with behind-the-scenes images of the ballpark during that time.

Through the month of July we will have the artwork of siblings James Walker and Helen Walker on display in the library's meeting room.
Join us for an art reception on Thursday, July 11th from 4-7 for a chance to enjoy the paintings and meet the artists. The display is open to the public and all are welcome.

We have wonderful selections for kids, teens and adults! This is a perfect opportunity to add to your cottage library or stock up on beach reads.

The Friends of Dennis Public Library are holding their annual author event again this July. We are excited to announce that this year's speaker is Elin Hilderbrand. She will be speaking about her new book,
Summer of '69, set to release mid-June.
The event will take place on Friday, July 26th at the Sea View restaurant, located at 76 Chase Ave. in Dennis Port.
Update: Tickets are now sold out for this event.
Tickets will be available starting Wednesday, June 12th and will be on sale at Dennis Public Library, Jacob Sears Memorial Library, and The Brewster Bookstore. Tickets are $30 each and can be paid for with cash or check made out to the Friends of Dennis Public Library.
