Join Master Gardener Mike Almonte from the Master Gardener Association of Cape Cod for an informational talk on organic gardening.
Organic gardening rejects the use of all artificial chemicals, including pesticides used to control insects, diseases and weeds. Pesticides can kill good insects along with the bad, and can be harmful to animals and humans. The goal of organic gardening is to build soil's organic matter and then rely on natural sources of supplemental nutrients. Join us to learn more about organic gardening.
MGACC is a volunteer organization with the mission of helping others to learn to grow. The Master Gardeners are trained by Cape Cod Cooperative Extension with a purpose to extend the outreach of unbiased, scientific based information to the public.
