Irish Harpist Mairead Doherty will return to the Dennis Public Library for a concert of Irish Music. She will be joined by Vocalist Tamara Harper, Flutist William Miner and Violinist Mark Oien. This concert is inspired by the beauty of Irish love songs that have stood the test of time. Looking back over the centuries of Irish Literature and song lyrics, the beauty of Irish love songs have stood the test of time, many of them written by men. What an appropriate time to celebrate the love, affection and respect expressed in these beautiful songs.
Mairead has traveled across Europe and North America performing on the Irish harp and singing in both English and Irish. She has performed at Dennis Public Library numerous times and always produces an enriching musical performance.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Dennis Arts and Culture Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Local author, Sedona Summer, felt motivated to share what she learned while recovering from the death of her husband, with the hope of helping others experiencing similar loss. What started as a memoir took on a life of its own and became a self help book. The result was a very personal story, with spirituality at its core.
Join us at Dennis Public Library to hear how Sedona Summer changed her life by adopting a more spiritual approach to living.
Copies of her book, "Free Your Soul," will be available for purchase.

Many people think using essential oils is all about the
“smell.” You might be surprised to know that essential oils can be used
for more than just a room freshener! In today’s world, some of the most
dangerous things that affect our health are the things we willingly expose
ourselves to daily.
Sometimes the products we use on ourselves, in our home, on
our children, and in our everyday lives could be the very things that
contribute to why we are sick, why we have health problems and why we struggle emotionally.
LuAnn Griffin was born and raised in Dennis. She is a busy wife and mother of
5. Her family began using essential oils in response to a serious health issue
with one of her daughters. After exhausting all means of conventional
medicine with minimal results, LuAnn began to explore other possible factors
that could be contributing to her problem. Thus began her love and appreciation
for all things “oily.”
Join our discussion to find out how to use the power of simple plant based essential oils to support many areas of your life.
