Author's Friday Special: Sy Montgomery                         Friday, July 29 from 1:00 - 4:00

Sy Montgomery is an author and adventurer, whom the Boston Globe calls, “Part Indiana Jones and part Emily Dickinson.” To research her books, films, and articles, she has been chased by a silverback gorilla, embraced by a Giant Pacific Octopus, and undressed by an orangutan. But she is perhaps best known for her 14-year love affair with Christopher Hogwood, a runt piglet who grew into a 750-pound great Buddha master. 
Autographed books, special drawings, door prizes, delicious appetizers, and a cash bar available. Tickets are now on sale at Dennis Public Library for $25, ($30 at door.) Tickets may also be purchased by mail: Friends of the Dennis Public Library, PO Box 25, S. Dennis, MA 02660.
