Romantic drama set in rural Ireland of the 1930s. The story begins when
19-year-old Elizabeth has a brief fling with an actor and falls
pregnant. Community pressure forces her to marry a dull middle-aged man,

January Meeting Room Artist - Kerri Schmidt
Kerri Schmidt is a Boston-based, multi-media artist whose works are inspired by small moments, joyous discoveries, and the wonders of life. This month she will be showing "Cuban Moments: 50 Years after the Revolution," a photographic and current events exhibit. In 2011 Kerri took an 8-day educator's tour to obtain a better understanding of the country's achievements in education, environmental stewardship, and universal health care. This enlightening journey inspired her to share her experience and encourage others to learn more about Cuba, its people and their history.
